John the Baptist upheld Jesus in the face of pressure. He was tempted to draw men unto himself, but he pointed them toward Jesus. Let us determine to be as faithful.
After the interview with Nicodemus, Jesus and His disciples depart for Judea. There they begin to baptize. John is also baptizing in a place called Aenon because there was much water there. I discuss the nature of baptism and of obedience.
Wrapping up Jesus’ interview with Nicodemus, we learn that those that love truth naturally come to the light. Those with evil deeds seek to conceal the un-truth of their positions. Jesus does not desire to condemn us; He came to save us. But condemnation comes to men that love darkness rather than light.
I was cut off in tha last video. This picks up where I was cut off. I mistakenly said 3 times instead of 7 times when talking about Naman the Serian. I said verse 5 when I ment verse 15. There may be other errors. Jesus talks to Nicodemus about how Him death on the cross was prefigured by an act of Moses. Why God sent His Son is revealed to Nicodemus (and thus to us). How to live forever is explained.
